About Us

Welcome to Samrawe Non-Profit Organization, dedicated to supporting 900 orphans and vulnerable children in Ethiopia who have lost their parents due to war. These children have faced
unimaginable hardship, with some not knowing the fate of their parents, whether they are alive or deceased.

Our journey began with a simple act of kindness with some of our friends, as we have helped 20 children in need since 2017 by providing school uniforms, pens, books, and regular clothing and shoes. In 2020, our efforts expanded when we received a generous donation of a pallet of books from Books for Africa. These books were taken to Ethiopia and contributed to the enrichment of a school library. Additionally, we distributed pens and exercise books to 500 poor and vulnerable kids, furthering our commitment to education and empowerment.

Since April 2021, we have been providing one meal per month, sometimes every other week, for these 900 orphans and vulnerable children, thanks to the support of our friends and donors. This ongoing effort is a testament to our dedication to improving the lives of those in need. And now, with God’s will, we plan to stand beside them as their parents and provide them with food, clothes, school materials, and shelter.
